WBC super featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom will defend her green and gold belt against Ronica “Queen” Jeffrey on a stacked card promoted by Roy Jones Jr. of RJJ Boxing Promotions on August 2 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Wahlstrom (22-1-1, 3 KOs), claimed the WBC world crown in 2015 by winning a 10 round decision over Natalia Vanesa del Valle Aguirre, followed by four successful defenses against  Dahiana Santana (35-7), Anahi Esther Sanchez (14-0), Mayra Alejandra Gomez (18-5) and Melissa St. Vil (10-2-4).

Meanwhile Jeffrey (17-1-0, 1 KO) comes from defeating Edina Kiss on December 7 in an entertaining fight.

Eva has beamed about how great her training camp has been but promises she won`t underestimate her ring rival, determined to leave a great impression on the crowd by offering a memorable showing in Las Vegas.

The card will be broadcast live and exclusively, starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, in UFC FIGHT PASS.
