On September 13, Callum “King” Walsh (14-0, 11 KOs), the WBC Continental Americas super-welterweight champion, will face Fernando “Feroz” Vargas Jr. (17-0, 15 KOs) as part of the undercard for Canelo Álvarez vs Terence “Bud” Crawford at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This fight is expected to finish before the 10th round, as Ireland's Walsh and USA's Vargas Jr. have both won their last five fights by stoppage. Walsh boasts a 78% KO ratio, Vargas is at 88%.

24-year-old “King” won his title in June 2024 by defeating Dauren Yeleussinov, while this will be the first title fight of Californian Vargas Jr.’s career.

On September 13, undefeated super middleweight Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs), WBC interim champion, will face undefeated Guatemalan Lester Martínez (19-0, 16 KOs) on the same card.

Mbilli, who won the interim WBC title by knocking out Maciej Sulecki in the first round in June, aims to solidify his position as a top contender in the 168-pound division. Martínez, current WBC Latino Continental champion, arrives undefeated and hopes to make a big impact in this high-profile setting.
