UK's youngest pro boxer Callum Steven Dan next fight announced

16-year-old Callum Dan (5-0, 5 KOs) is set to clash with 49-fight veteran Campee Phayom (27-20-2, 19 KOs) on Saturday, February 28 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dan clashes with Phayom over six rounds at super-welterweight at The World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, streamed live on Triller TV.

Plymouth's Callum Dan won his first four pro bouts by KO within rounds one and two between April to June 2025, all abroad in Thailand. In October, he knocked out Thailand's Ratthaphum Ngambaisri in three rounds to be crowned Asian middleweight champion in just his fifth fight.

The teenager is yet to be taken past the third round, taking just 17 minutes and 38 seconds to dispatch of five opponents so far.

Dan is signed to India‑based boxing organisation Marine Pro Boxing and trained by his Marlee Dan at Intense ABC in Honicknowle, Plymouth, England. Together they had 30 amateur bouts before making the decision to fight abroad professionally, just one month after Callum's 16th birthday.

His next ring rival is Thailand's seasoned Campee Phayom, who won his first five fights by KO back in 2015, shortly before become the Thai national super-lightweight champion in 2016. Now aged 28, he is 5′ 7½″ tall and has accumulated a 70% KO ratio.

Dan aims to build up his pro boxing record and fight experience to eventually fight in front of a home crowd in the UK when he turns 18 in March 2027.

Also on the Global Fight Night card is British boxer Zeeshan Ali Moughal (5-1, 3 KOs). 35 from Oxford, Ali has boxed for over 20 years, but only turned pro last year, debuting on January 25, 2025. He won five from six fights in Bangkok and aims to be just as active in 2026.
