Dillian Whyte is full of confidence as Derek Chisora trilogy looms

Can Dillian Whyte make it 3-0?

Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KO’s) and Dillian Whyte(31-4, 21 KO’s) have already shared the ring twice as professionals, with Whyte coming out on top on both occasions. 

However, their rivalry looks like it will be reignited in December, with the pair rumoured to meet again at the Coop Live Arena, Manchester.

Dillian Whyte will be hoping to bounce back from his recent outing against fellow Brit Moses Itauma, where he managed just two minutes before a ferocious Itauma dispatched the 37-year-old.

Speaking to Sky Sports, ‘The Body Snatcher’ is certainly not short of confidence this time around.

"We're not there yet, but there's interest from both sides. Obviously he's said he's not happy with the paperwork, none of us are happy with it," Whyte stated.

"There's lots of things that need to be nailed down and agreed.

"I just want to fight. I'm not getting any younger. This is the best fight for me at the moment.

"I've always taken hard fights, I've always wanted hard fights, Derek Chisora is no chump. Even if he's a thousand years old, he's going to be a worry."

"It's going to be a complete whitewash, 3-0, that's all I'm saying” he declared. “We've got a lot of pride. We respect each other. But we don't particularly like each other.

"He says a lot of stuff. Then when I say something he takes it personally.

"Derek Chisora's a bully... I've always been someone that spanked bullies my whole life."
