Plymouth teen boxing sensation Callum Dan extends perfect record to 6-0 with victory over experienced Thai fighter in Bangkok

Professional teen boxing prospect Callum Dan (6-0, 6 KOs) maintained his perfect professional record on Saturday 28th of February at The World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, securing his sixth victory since becoming the youngest British professional boxer in 2025.

Fighting just a week before his 17th birthday on March 6th, Callum delivered another victory inside the distance against experienced Thai fighter Campee Phayom (27-20-2, 19 KOs) in a bout that showcased his continued development against seasoned international opposition.

Phayom, with 49 professional fights and 19 knockout victories, provided another step up and challenge for Callum early in his career. However, Callum showed composure from the moment the first bell rang. Utilising his jab to build off and picking his moments, ultimately led to Callum catching Phayom out with a right hook, and ending the fight just 15 seconds into the second round to add to his tally of knockouts.

The bout, streamed live worldwide on TrillerTV, drew notable support from David Thomas, Deputy Head of Mission from the British Embassy in Thailand, who was ringside to witness Callum's latest victory on foreign soil.

"Callum worked extremely hard in the camp leading up to the fight, and he executed on the game plan today and I’m really proud of him." added Shaun Dan, Callum’s Father who is one of Callum’s trainers.

Training full-time in Plymouth out of Intense Boxing Gym alongside established fighters Constantin Ursu and Tiago Muxanga, Callum's dedication continues to pay dividends as he builds experience against international opposition. Since signing with Marine Pro Boxing, the teenager has the desire to  continue working through increasingly challenging opponents.

Looking ahead, Callum is set for his biggest test yet with an upcoming bout in Mumbai, India, which will see him fight in front of his largest audience to date. The fight will be broadcast live in India, and streamed worldwide on TrillerTV, with opponent and further details to be announced shortly. This represents just one of several international fights planned for Callum throughout 2026.

With his sights firmly set on fighting in front of a home UK crowd in 2027 when he's eligible for his British Boxing Board of Control licence, this latest victory represents another significant milestone in Callum's remarkable journey which started while he was still studying for his GCSEs, to the professional he is today.
