Unbeaten welterweight Sean Noakes announces his "biggest fight to date"

Sean Noakes challenges Kieran Molloy for his IBF European welterweight title

Undefeated welterweight star Sean Noakes (12-0, 5 KOs) announced his next fight against Kieran Molloy (14-0, 7 KOs) for his IBF European welterweight title at the CopperBox Arena on Saturday, July 18, live on DAZN.

31 from Maidstone, "Nightmare" Noakes is a former English welterweight champion who won the title in 2024 against 12-1 Inder Bassi, then defended it to unbeaten Matthew Rennie and 11-1 Jermaine Osbourne-Edwards, all three championship fights happening in under a year's time.

Older brother of world title contender Sam Noakes, Sean has fought once this year against Ezequiel Gregores in March, winning 60-53 on points.

IBF European titleholder Molloy, 27 from Galway, won the regional belt in his last fight against Dutchman Xavier Kohlen in March, which took place one day before Noakes' last bout.

The 50-50 championship clash takes place on the undercard of Harlem Eubank vs David Papot, who also for an IBF belt, on a Neilson Boxing and MF Pro show.

On the undercard, Aaron Prospere and Mikey Sakyi clash for the English super-lightweight title, and Finley James and Jake Henty lock horns for the Southern Area welterweight strap. Both boxers are 9-0, so the winner not only takes the title, they move up to 10-0 too.
