Unbeaten middleweight George Juby added to Michael Hunter vs Eli Frankham card

This coming Friday, December 5, Norfolk’s George Juby (1-0) will enter the hallowed ring at the iconic York Hall in Bethnal Green, London to face Haryana, India’s Sunil Kumar on the undercard of the highly anticipated Michael ‘The Bounty’ Hunter vs Eli Frankham Heavyweight clash that headlines the William Storey promoted Rich Energy event.

Juby, who had a stellar amateur career, only made his professional debut back on the 1st November, when he faced and beat Bhinder Singh on the Mollie Edgington promoted TFM Promotions event at the Basildon Sport & Leisure club.

The King’s Lynn man's performance bought him to the attention of Rich Energy CEO William Storey, who immediately offered him the opportunity to be on the undercard of the high profile Michael Hunter vs Eli Frankham event.

Even though he’d only just made his pro debut, Juby jumped at the opportunity, even though it meant he would be facing a far more experienced fighter in Sunil Kumar, as he made clear when he spoke earlier, “I’m very grateful to be on a show as big as this, especially on just my second fight as a pro”.

He added, “Looking forward to putting on a big performance”.
