The undisputed heavyweight showdown between WBC king Tyson Fury and unified titlist Oleksandr Usyk is edging ever so closer towards Saturday, May 18, at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury-Usyk is the most significant heavyweight battle of the millennium, as the winner will become the division’s first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis claimed the throne way back in 1999.
Briton Fury (34-0-1, 24KO) returns following last October’s decision win over former UFC king Francis Ngannou in Riyadh. He first conquered the WBC heavyweight championship in 2020 by defeating one of the greatest punchers of all-time, the “Bronze Bomber” Deontay Wilder.
Ukrainian Usyk (21-0, 14KO), an Olympic gold medalist, hopes to become the second man, following Evander Holyfield, to achieve undisputed status at both cruiserweight and heavyweight.

"I believe that if he stands up in the 12th round, he will get his hand raised, regardless of what's going to happen.
"I think it's going to be a hard fight. All I want him to do is stand on his feet.
"Stand on his feet at the 12th round at the end of it and, God willing, it should be a points win to him [Fury]."
