Tyson Fury back in the ring in 10 weeks

Two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (35-2-1, 24 KOs) will fight in Dublin on August 1st, it has been revealed.

The 37-year-old Brit simply wrote, "Let's go, August 1, Dublin, Ireland."

'The Gypsy King' will be added to a Queensberry Promotions show already in place, headlined by Pierce O'Leary in a defence of his IBO World super-lightweight title to Mark Chamberlain, at the 3Arena, live on DAZN.

Fury's opponent is yet to be announced, but promoter Frank Warren has already ruled out Andy Ruiz Jr. The 74-year-old promoter has reported that Fury will face a "good heavyweight".

The fight will be his second bout of the year and designed as a warm-up for his scheduled November showdown with Anthony Joshua.

The 37-year-old Morecombe man defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov via wide unanimous decision in April at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Anthony Joshua fights a week earlier on July 25 against unheralded Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Then, Tyson fights one week later on August 1, finally followed by Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic on August 8, showcasing the UK's top three heavyweights all within tree weekends of each other.
