The Ring’s Grand Awards Night

This Saturday at the Old Royal Naval College in London, The Ring magazine organized a memorable mega event,  that brought together the most select of world boxing, to present the awards in recognition of the best of 2024.

This grand event was promoted by Turki Alalshikh, who bought the rights to The Ring magazine from Oscar de la Hoya a few months ago, promising to give continuity and even more relevance to the historic magazine.

The awards given by The Ring to the best of world boxing are the following:

KO OF THE YEAR: Daniel Dubois’ KO over Anthony Joshua

COMEBACK OF THE YEAR: Billy Dib

SURPRISE OF THE YEAR: Bruno Surace knocking out Jaime Munguía

ROUND OF THE YEAR: Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury in round 9 of their fight

PROMISE OF THE YEAR: Moses Itauma

TRAINER OF THE YEAR: Robert García

EVENT OF THE YEAR: Usyk vs Fury 1

FIGHT OF THE YEAR: Raymond Ford vs Otabek Kholmatov

BOXER OF THE YEAR: Oleksandr Usyk

FEMALE BOXER OF THE YEAR: Gabriela Fundora

BOXING LEGEND: Recognition to Don King
