Unbeaten Oshae Jones (8-0, 3 KOs) defends her IBF and IBO world super-welterweight titles to fellow American Elia Carranza (11-1, 3 KOs) on Friday, July 25, 2025 in Atlanta, live on DAZN.
From Ohio, the defending champion, Oshae Jones, won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
She turned pro in 2022 and won the NABF super-welterweight title in her fifth pro fight. In November 2024, she split decisioned Femke Hermans to be crowned IBF and IBO world super-welterweight champion.
Now aged 27, Jones makes the first defence of her world championships to Florida's Carranza.
The 34-year-old challenger has lost just once in her 12-bout pro career, back in her second fight in June 2022.
Carranza has defeated former world champion, Chris Namus, who was an IBF titlist in 2017; as well as world title contenders Yamila Reynoso, Natasha Spence and Edina Kiss.
Fighting in Atlanta for a fourth time in a row, unbeaten Jones is expected to retain her IBF and IBO crowns, but her challenger already has a list of world title contenders and champions as scalps on her record, so it's set to be a close contest.
DID YOU KNOW? Oshae's younger brother Otha Jones III is also a boxer.
