Japanese undisputed superstar Naoya Inoue (30-0, 27 KO’s) is set to take on Murodjon ‘MJ’ Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KO’s) this Sunday at IG Arena in Nagoya, Japan.

While Inoue heads into the bout a heavy favourite, Akhmadaliev is a former unified champion and won't make the pound-for-pound king's job easy by any means – with Inoue previously stating that the 30-year-old will be his toughest test to date.

The bout has remained mostly out of the limelight, mainly given the mammoth meeting between Saul ‘ Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford on Saturday. 

However, Top Rank recently revealed that the event will be streamed live in the US and UK on their Facebook page. 

The stream will start at 9 am BST and show a total of three fights - Yoshiki Takei will defend his bantamweight title against Christian Medina, while Yuni Takada and Ryusei Matsumoto will go to war for the vacant minimumweight title.

Speaking ahead of his bout, the undefeated Inoue revealed he has got himself into top shape ahead of his tough test.

“I've been training while pushing myself not just physically, but mentally too. However, the match turns out, I'll win,” ‘The Monster’ stated at a press conference.

The two-weight undisputed champion has found himself on the canvas twice in his career, both in relatively recent fights. He last hit the deck in May against Ramon Cardenas, with his first career knockdown coming a year earlier against Luis Nery. 

Inoue sees these as a learning opportunity, stating that the punishment he has taken has only made him more dangerous inside the square circle.

“I'm very aware of why those knockdowns happened," Inoue said. "Because I have those experiences, I can make use of them during the fight in two days' time. I hope to give a good fight, taking those (knockdowns) as a plus."

Top Rank head, Bob Arum, has announced that if Inoue comes out on top this weekend, 'The Monster's next fight will come on a December Saudi Arabia card, with WBC #1 Alan Picasso leading the line as a potential opponent.
