Gabriela Alaniz conquers WBC, WBO and WBA flyweight titles against Marlene Esparza

Alaniz wins the WBC Flyweight Championship

Argentine Gabriela “La Chucky” Alaniz became the new World Champion of the WBC, WBO and WBA by defeating Californian Marlene Esparza by split decision, in one of the preliminary fights of the card “José Carlos Ramírez vs Rancés Barthelemy”, at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.

Like their first battle, there were 10 rounds full of action. On this occasion, Alaniz landed the best punches, imposing her dynamic on Esparza.

With this victory, Alaniz got revenge for the only defeat she has had in her career, which was against Esparza, in July of last year.

“Chucky” improved her record to 15-1, with 6 knockouts, while Esparza left the ring with a record of 14-2, with 1 knockout.
