BOXXER is gearing up for one of its biggest cards to date, as Frazer Clarke (9-1-1, 7 KO’s) and Jeamie TKV (8-2, 5 KO’s) collide to determine Heavyweights' new British Champion.
The bout is scheduled for October 25 and is set to take place at the Valliant Live in Derby and will be streamed live on the BBC.
Clarke was so close to greatness, but instead, he now has to build himself back up after suffering a devastating and downright disturbing knockout loss to the quickly ascending Fabio Wardley last year.
The fight marked the pair's second meeting, after the Brits found themselves inseparable in their first clash.
The fight has already garnered plenty of social media attention, and not all supportive, with Frank Warren voicing displeasure with the event clashing with Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley's eliminator.
However, the event is going from strength to strength, and a recent update has proven particularly positive.
This morning, BOXXER released four of the undercard fights across social media.
Fran Hennessy (6-0, 1KO) looks to add to her undefeated resume, taking on Fabiana Bytyqi (22-2-2, 5 KO’s) in a super-bantamweight matchup.
Also on the card, Bobby Dalton (11-0, 2 KO’s) will be putting his English welterweight title on the line - in a first defence, following his victory over Ben Vaughan in July - against the also undefeated Joel Kodua (9-0, 2 KO’s).
Perhaps the biggest name currently released, Jack Massey (22-3, 12 KO’s), looks to bounce back from misery against Jai Opetaia, shaking off the ring rust against Ivan Gabriel Garcia (10-4-1, 10 KO’s).
Despite his losses, Garcia possesses fight-equalising power, and Massey will need to bring his A-game as he begins a reascent through the cruiserweight division.
Finally, intriguing prospect Mauro Silva (9-0, 4 KO’s) will be looking to add some extra fuel to the hype train, taking on Coventry’s Bradley Goldsmith (13-1, 9 KOs).
