Eduardo Sánchez vs Eduardo Cordovez for the WBC Latino title

On Friday the Costa Rican Eduardo Sánchez Ramírez will face the Venezuelan Eduardo Cordovez for the WBC Latino super-welterweight title, at the Parque de la Industria, Guatemala City, on a card that will be broadcast by ESPN Knockout.

Born in San José, Costa Rica, busy Eduardo Sánchez Ramírez will have his second fight of the year. The Central American began the year actively, winning in the first days of January against his compatriot Roy Fernández for the second time consecutive by unanimous decision.

Sánchez (9-1-2, 5KO), aged 30, has a knockout percentage of 50%. Likewise, he has two wins and a draw fighting outside his country.

Originally from Los Teques, Miranda, Venezuela, Eduardo Rafael Cordovez will enter the ring for the first time in 2024. 

Heavy handed Cordovez (16-4-1, 14KO), 35 years old, has accumulated a knockout percentage of over 80%.
