Archie Sharpshooter returns to the ring with a win

On his 28th birthday, WBO #1 super-featherweight Archie 'Sharpshooter' Sharp (23-0, 9KO) celebrated with a points win over Mauro Perouene (15-8-1, 8KO) at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Friday, April 14.

The 28-year-old unbeaten talent from Welling, now trained by Roy Jones Jr, was last seen in action against Romanian Alex Rat in June 2022 in Leeds, which was his only fight of the year.

On this Friday's Bateson Promotions show, Sharp dominated Argentinian southpaw Perouene over 10 rounds in his first fight of the year. Full results below:
