Yulihan ‘Cobrita’ Luna happy for rematch strike  against “Barby”

WBC world champion Yulihan ‘Cobrita’ Luna is ready to defend her bantamweight belt.

Luna Avila, who is a  Promociones del Pueblo fighter, has won bantamweight and super bantamweight championships, building a record of 20 wins, three of them by knockout.

On multiple occasions, she has expressed her desire to again fight former world champion Mariana ‘Barby’ Juárez in a rematch, from whom she snatched the Green and Gold Belt of the WBC.

Mariana, who suffered a fractured nose in the first round, courageously fought on nine more rounds ignoring blood and considerable discomfort. She, too, has expressed her desire for a return match.

Originally  from Gomez Palacio, Durango; At 27, “Cobrita” has become one of the boxing fans` favorites.

Yulihan has developed ring craft from the teachings of her father and her trainer Julio Luna plus the advice of former champion Cristian Mijares.
