Undefeated 'Destroyer' Dee Allen calls out Price and Jonas

Leytonstone Destroyer Dee Allen (6-0, 3KO) is back and says she would knock out World Champions Lauren Price and Natasha Jonas, if they ever fought.

The former European and WBC International Welterweight Champion makes her return to the ring on Friday 14th March at London’s York Hall and wants a showdown against either Price or Jonas later this year.

Allen is undefeated in six fights with three KO’s and is world ranked at number eight by the World Boxing Council.  In her last fight in November 2023 she put on an incredible performance to defeat Marine Beauchamp in the Frenchwoman’s backyard to win the European title on points.

The hard-hitting 33-year-old will be at ringside when Price and Jonas clash the following month at the Royal Albert Hall in their welterweight World title unification showdown and will have her sights set on the winner.

Allen said, “Lauren and Natasha are both great boxers, they’re both genuine and decent World champions and boxed their way to the top.  Jumping in the ring with either of them would be a great fight, I reckon it be a real tear up between us, but ultimately it would end with me knocking either of them out.”

“When I get my name back in the mix then I’m coming for them, if you want to show you’re a World champion then you’re going to have to come up against me.  I’m going to get in there and take on anyone.”

In her opinion, she see’s Liverpool star Jonas emerging the winner in the titanic battle and overcoming the Welsh Olympic Gold Medallist on points.

“It’s a tough one to call, but I can see Jonas taking this one when they clash. I feel that she’s stronger and more experienced and has been around longer.  Natasha has got a bit more grit than Lauren.  I think she’ll take it on points decision.” Said Allen.

“I’ve been watching the women boxing in my division and I don’t think any of them match my standards and I need to get back in the ring and show them what a real fighter can do.”

All her focus is now on her return next month and getting a victory against the hard and experienced Czech Republic fighter Ester Konecna and she’s not taking her lightly after Konecna recently defeated unbeaten Finish prospect Hanna Rousu in her own hometown.

She added, “You can’t take anything for granted in this sport.  I know I can beat Konecna but I’m also aware she can can cause an upset so I’m not taking her lightly.”

“She’s a good fighter to get back in against and she’ll come and have a go.  It will be a good bash up and I’m looking forward to putting on a good show on my return, I’m pretty excited and I can’t wait.”

Training out of the talent packed Origin’s gym in Rainham alongside champions and prospects including Johnny Fisher, John Hedges and Tommy Fletcher, Allen feels inspired every time she trains there.

“I’m in the gym with my trainer Bala Arumugam and we’re in the gym alongside Mark Tibbs who trains some fantastic fighters in Johnny, John, Tommy and many more and it’s just such a fantastic vibe down there.

“It’s like a family and feels like home, but everyone is working hard and doing their own thing, and to watch them makes me work harder in what I’m doing and what I want to achieve.”
