May 29th, Dragon Fire Boxing hits the Metro City Arena for the second time this year for the 54th edition of the iconic Thunderdome series with a stacked card.
One of the bouts on the night features Perth's Joel “Lethal” Lewis (8-1, , 5 KOs), who returns for his first contest of 2026, taking on China's “White Fang” Weifang Li (4-10-1).
Lewis is living up to his name riding high on a four-fight KO streak in as many wins.
Lewis shares a gym with former world champion Jason Moloney and his twin brother Andrew, who is challenging for the IBF World title on June 6 in Aichi.
“Lethal” Lewis shared his lofty ambitions for 2026, “The Team is flying and growing at the moment, I know I have to earn my stripes and I plan to put on a showcase on May 29 and start challenging for championships honours in 2026.
“I know [Dragon Fire] will look after me in 2026 and I’m sure it’ll be a massive year for me now that I’m entering my prime.
“I’ll be getting a lot more wins under my belt and hopefully more titles as will come as well.
“I know I’m very young but I'm improving every day and I plan on making 2026 a breakout year for “The Dirty Boy” Joel “Lethal” Lewis.
“My camp is what made the difference against Kori, I felt I was ready for that fight. I have a lot of power in my hands and my boxing has come a long way and I'm continually improving.
“I was just a good fighter, but [Hyder] has really turned me into a great boxer and that’s what I’m going to show again come May 29th.
