Canelo and Crawford will clash in an undisputed super-middleweight championship fight that will reportedly be worth a cool $200,000,000.

It's still more than three months away, on September 13, but anticipation is high following Canelo's latest fight - a dull, uneventful unanimous points win over defensive fighter, William Scull.

Undefeated "Bud" Crawford last fought in August, winning the WBO Interim world super-welterweight title in a close fight against undefeated Israil Madrimov.

Ahead of the super-fight, which will pit a two-time undisputed super-middleweight champion against a two-weight undisputed champion, retired boxing legend Sergio Martinez shared his thoughts on the match-up.

The two-weight world champion, "Maravilla" Martinez, now 50, succinctly summed it up, "Crawford has hard work, while Canelo has difficulty work, mentally.

"If Canelo uses his physical advantages wisely he will triumph, because he possesses the weight and the strength advantage. The difference between body weight and strength is distinct, and that is precisely why there are weight divisions. Yet Crawford has sufficient intelligence to evaluate the physical strength of Canelo.

"Crawford is very intelligent. He handles tactics very well and he has a wily strategy. Crawford has also fought less fights. It's shaping up as a David vs Goliath contest and it will indeed be a spectacular. I think it will be a very even fight, but I think it will also be very physically difficult."
