Nordine Oubaali wants to destroy the Monster

Nordine Oubaali lists both Takuma and Naoya Inoue as his top priorities

On January 19, Nordine Oubaali (16-0, 12KOs), won the WBC bantamweight champion with a convincing decision over American Rau’shee Warren, becoming the first French fighter to win a world title in Las Vegas.

In his first defense of the title on July 6 against Filipino Arthur Villanueva, Oubaali dominated his rival and knocked him out in six rounds. Now Nordine is looking confidently into the future in a division full of talent, volunteering:  “I want to go back to Las Vegas, get in the ring and fight against the greatest names.”

The news portal Fightnews.com briefly interviewed Oubaali.

What are your observations of the fight with Villanueva?

"He tried to put some pressure on me. I could not quit so I took command of the fight early to show him who the champion is."

Why did the fight take place in Kazakstan?

“My management, MTK Global, co-organized the card with MTK Kazakstan. It was a great opportunity because the fans of the United States could see my fight on ESPN +. I hope the fans of the United States can see my next fight. ”

Takuma Inoue has said he wants to challenge you. What do you think?

“I love it. I want to beat Takuma Inoue and send a message to his brother. You can be a monster, but I’m not afraid of you. Naoya is very talented, he hits very hard but I am the smartest boxer, best technical fighter, defeating Takuma and facing Naoya are my top priorities” he finished.
