Mexican Lourdes “Little Lulu” Juárez gave a striking example  of great physical preparation, coupled its exemplary technique, to win  a unanimous victory over Guadalupe Martínez to lift aloft the World Boxing Council super flyweight belt.

Juárez surprised the champion with quick hands with fast combinations  in the first two rounds, after which she took control,  landing her best shots at  medium and close range. Martínez had not lost for more than three years.

Juárez took the last round to win 97-93, 96-93 and 97-93.

“Little Lulu” added her thirty-first victory, four on the fast track, with two losses, and Martinez suffered her ninth setback with 20 wins, six of them by knockout.
