It is one of the fights that people in the capital are already talking about before the first bell: Justin "Sprosse" Schmager (6-2-1, 4 KOs) will face Yaser "The Legend" Yüksel (16-11-1, 5 KOs) on the upcoming Saturday, February 7th, as part of the KUC Boxing Dinner Night Vol. 9. Eight rounds in the welterweight division, set in an exclusive setting and with plenty of sporting excitement.
The first direct encounter between the two fighters already took place in Köpenick, the Berlin district Schmager comes from. Accordingly, the interview for KUC Boxing's YouTube channel was conducted there as well. Both boxers presented themselves as calm, focused, and highly respectful.
Sprosse" is confident of a victory against Yüksel and already has his next desired opponent in mind in that case. He did not want to reveal more, only that it is a well-known Berlin boxer.
The fight between Schmager and Yüksel at the Titanic Chaussee Berlin on Chausseestraße in Berlin-Mitte will be one of those intense bouts that spectators want to see.
"Both boxers are fired up and won't take a step back. Justin Schmager will have the support of his Berlin fans behind him, while Yüksel will be a significantly more experienced opponent. This is going to be a battle of attrition!" says promoter Almin Kuc ahead of the event.
Embedded in the dinner gala of KUC Boxing, this duel is already considered one of the most exciting fights of the evening: athletically high-level, emotionally charged, and with clear significance for the Berlin boxing scene. In the main event of the evening, Berlin's Jan Meiser will defend his International German Championship title against Armend Hasani.
The KUC Boxing Ringside Dinner Night stands not only for high-level boxing, but also for an exclusive event experience in a special atmosphere. It is the first dinner boxing gala in Berlin since 1989. Admission starts at 5:30 PM, and the first bell rings at 6:00 PM. A few tickets are still available in advance through Eventim.de.
