Catterall and Flanagan join the WBC CBP

Ranked #14 in the World Boxing Council super-lightweight division, Jack Catterall and Terry Flanagan, who's positioned at #18 in the lightweight category, have both completed their registration forms for the Clean Boxing Program.

For the WBC, it is imperative to work in education and awareness to help all people involved in sport learn the danger of using substances to improve performance (PED's), which eventually create major health problems, but also immediate risks for opponents.

You can learn all facts from the webinar, which is available on all WBC and CBP websites. Specific information is shown about  risks and dangers when using these substances.

The WBC commented on their recent inclusion and cooperation with their program, "These two fighters, both from the United Kingdom, set an example to all boxers who have not yet signed up for CBP."

'El Gato' Catterall is chasing the WBO champion and is set for his shot in the New Year as the #1 mandatory contender, and former WBO world champion 'Turbo' Flanagan is rebuilding towards winning a second world title."
