In front of his home fans, Brighton boxer Harlem Eubank (21-0, 9KO) stopped 'The Mighty Celt' Tyrone McKenna in the 10th round of their scheduled 12-round IBF Inter-Continental welterweight championship fight, live on Channel 5.
35-year-old Irish southpaw, McKenna, was down in rounds five, seven and 10, before referee John Latham stopped the fight at 2:09 in the 10th.
The first knockdown came from a big right hand in the fifth, then he had the Irish southpaw over again in the seventh with another clean right hand on the chin. After the third knockdown in the 10th, the ref had seen enough and called a halt.
The 31-year-old Eubank is now unbeaten in 21 bouts. Watched by uncle Chris Eubank and cousin Chris Jr., Harlem picked up the IBF Inter-Continental welterweight title, which could see him enter their top 15 next month.
The IBO #20 called out family rival, Conor Benn, after the fight, "I want Conor Benn next. I fight at 147lbs and his real weight is 147lbs. Chris is going to wipe him out and I want him next."
He added, "I'm coming for the world champions!"
Michael Conlan got back to winning ways against India's Asad Asif Khan, defeating him 78-74 on points over eight rounds at super-featherweight.
Trained by Peter Fury, heavyweight prospect Matty Harris scored a first-round knockout to move up to 8-1, 6KO.
Since his shock defeat to Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko in July 2023, 25-year-old 'Magic' Matty Harris has now won three on the spin between March 2024 to March 2025.
20-year-old Essex featherweight, Tom Welland, moved up to 8-0, 5KO with fourth round stoppage of Tanzanian Ally B Lubanja.
