After more than two and a half years away from the ring, Hamburg-based heavyweight boxer Albon Pervizaj (19-1, 13 KOs) made a triumphant return.

As part of the boxing event “The Show Must Go On IV,” held on June 21 at the iconic Gold’s Gym in Berlin, Pervizaj defeated seasoned opponent Ilja Mezencev with a knockout in the third round.

The 29-year-old delivered a dominant performance from the opening bell and ended the bout with a precise liver shot – a powerful statement following his long hiatus, and an impressive new beginning under the banner of Fides Sports Promotion.

“I’m proud of my comeback. I gave it everything, and you could feel that in the ring. This is just the beginning. I’m hungry and ready for whatever comes next,” said Pervizaj after the fight.
