Frank Warren questions the judging at his recent Manchester event

The judging is being hailed as a disgrace

Joshua Buatsi (20-1, 13 KO’s) and Liam Cameron (24-7-1, 10 KO’s) both found themselves crowned victorious at the Saturday evening boxing bonanza; however, with the fights fought on razor-thin margins, the decisions have sparked a fair bit of controversy.

And Frank Warren, who hosted the event, has joined in on the criticism, saying that the British Boxing Board of Control should be evaluating a ‘lack of consistency’ in the judging decisions.

"We had a fantastic night of boxing in Manchester on Saturday, with some real quality 50/50 match-ups that absolutely delivered," Warren told Sky Sports.

"Some of the scorecards though have created headlines and that's not fair on the fighters. We really need more consistency from the judges to stop these things happening, the BBBoC does a great job but they need to look at it."

Zach Parker fumes at officiating

Zach Parker (27-4, 18 KO's) was one of the fighters who came up short on Saturday, with Joshua Buatsi handing the Briton his first defeat in five fights. 

Speaking to DAZN following the defeat, he was unable to hide his anger in reaction to the judges' scorecards.

“Fuming. I won that fight easy. I think every single person at ringside said I won it.

"I won literally almost every round. If I outbox him and he can't even touch me, I should be champion now and going on to bigger fights.

"Everyone's got eyes, so they can see the fight," he continued. 

“He can't even a land a clean shot on me. I should be champion. I'm just pi**ed off.

"(I'd probably give him) one round, and that was early. The later rounds, he couldn't even catch me. I was comfortable in there.

"I should be going on for bigger titles and bigger money fights. I'm trying to change my daughter's life, and I get decisions like that."
