Sampson Boxing announces it’s signed undefeated welterweight contender Kudratillo Abdukakhorov (17-0, 9KOs).
Originally from Uzbekistan, but currently training at the Elite Pro Boxing Gym in Santa Fe Springs, California with trainer Armando Valenzuela, 'The Punisher' Abdukakhorov was already a WBC Silver Welterweight Champion and hopes to be able to aspire for a championship opportunity soon.
Abdukakhorov was a four-time Uzbek national champion as an amateur, finishing with an impressive 170-10 record. The 27-year-old originally signed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank and had two fights in the United States.
“I am very excited to sign with Sampson Lewkowicz and Sampson Boxing. I want to fight the best and working with Sampson and the PBC, I will get the fights that I have been waiting for,” said Abdukakhorov.
Kudratillo Xabibullo Ogli Abdukakhorov, born 29 August 1993, is an Uzbek professional boxer who held the WBC Silver welterweight title from 2017 to 2018. As of August 2020, he was ranked as the world's eighth best active welterweight by The Ring magazine and ninth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.
