The former world champion has never put a foot wrong in the professional scene, with 50 fights to his name, the American is yet to be trumped

He’s set to lace up in April, taking on Mike Tyson in a mammoth exhibition in the Congo.

While not a pro bout, Mayweather still appears to be taking the fight seriously, aware of the damage and agesmd-yet still powerful Tyson could inflict.

However, even more sensational, the 48-year-old has now revealed that a return to the pro ranks is within his future plans.

Mayweather last fought professionally in 2017, taking on MMA superstar Conor McGregor in a combat sports mash-up.

Despite a valiant effort from the Irishman, Mayweather glided through the bout relatively unscathed, finding a stoppage in the tenth round.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of his Mike Tyson clash, the American revealed he still feels he is one of the sport's biggest names, with record-breaking fights still well within the legend's grasp.

"I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing - from my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards - no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience and generate more money with each event - than my events,” Mayweather stated.
