Filip Hrgovic reveals plans to bully Moses Itauma during their fight: "I'll throw him out of the ring"

Filip Hrgovic is all set to manhandle Moses Itauma in their upcoming fight

WBO #2 Filip Hrgovic (20-1, 15 KOs) has warned WBO #1 Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 KOs) that he plans to bully him like he's just a kid in high school.

Kent's Itauma has been described as 'The Future of Heavyweight Boxing', but despite being the WBA and WBO #1, he is still relatively untested.

So, now he will take the biggest risk of his unbeaten heavyweight career in a crunch clash against Croatian Filip Hrgovic this August 29 at London's O2 Arena.

The 34-year-old from Zagreb has already begun the war of words with the Brit even before the official launch press conference has taken place.

The Croatian, who destroyed Dave Allen in just three rounds last May, referred to his 21-year-old opponent as a 'kid from high school'.

'El Animal' declared, "I will destroy the kid, man.

"I'll throw him out of the ring.

"I'm a f***ing animal, man,

"So, I'll throw him out of the ring.

"I'll throw him back to high school."

Despite the threats, Hrgovic remains the underdog at the bookies, with unbeaten Itauma placed 1/6 to continue his winning run, which has seen him sweep aside his last 10 opponents in a row, taking just 17 rounds to acheive those wins.

He has stopped the likes of Marius Wach, Demsey McKean and Dillian Whyte in rounds one and two, and it took only five very one-sided rounds to become the first man to stop Anthony Joshua opponent, Jermaine Franklin in his last fight in March.

Hrgovic is also on a good run of wins since his eight-round stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in 2024. Filip has been victorious against Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and Dave Allen between Aprl 2025 to May 2026. And now, he has boldy promised to beat a fourth British oppoent in a row, but Itauma is tipped to become a future world champion. August 29th will provide a lot of answers for everyone.
