On February 1, 2025, David “El Monstro” Benavidez (29-0, 24KO) and David Morrell Jr. (11-0, 9KO) defends his interim WBC light heavyweight title against David Morrell Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On the undercard, the inaugural “Guerrero Azteca” belt - in honour of the legendary Israel “Magnifico” Vazquez - will be awarded to the winner of the clash between Mexico City’s Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (26-3-1, 18KO) and Tijuana’s Angel “Tashiro” Fierro (23-2-2, 18KO).
A rematch between Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (25-1-1, 19KO) and Stephen Fulton Jr (22-1, 8KO) will follow on from their scintillating, razor-close fight for the WBC and WBO bantamweight titles in 2021, which Fulton edged on a mixed decision. This time, they clash for Brandon’s WBC featherweight belt.
