Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell clash will be shown live on DAZN in 200 more countries after global launch in December at cut price of £1.99

DAZN will make its delayed global launch with over 200 countries being rolled onto the subscription service in December with the first boxing event made available being the huge lightweight clash between Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell on December 5th.

The streaming service planned its initial expansion in May of this year with Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders touted to be the launch fight, but plans were put on hold due to the ongoing uncertainty and financial difficulties surrounding the pandemic.

At an initial price of £1.99 for several global fans, DAZN have made the service accesible to countries such as America and Germany before it's new set date for global launch.

However British fans will be unable to see the heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev on the service due to Joshua's ongoing broadcast contract with Sky Sports, but will be shown in all other regions.

The clash between Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell will be shown at midnight in the UK (7 p.m. ET; 4 p.m. PT) to cater for British fans, while hoping to expand into other sports and become a sports streaming service known globally.

“From the UK to Mexico to Australia, we’ve seen an encouraging level of interest in our key events since first launching in 2016,” Joseph Markowski, DAZN’s executive vice president, said in a press release issued Wednesday. “We’re looking forward to introducing the DAZN platform around the world this December with an exciting schedule of fights.”

DAZN has already made some huge signings since it's backing by billionare Len Blavatnik, most notably by signing middleweight rivals Canelo Alvarez and Gennadiy Golovkin to bumper financial fight contracts.
