Conor Benn and Sebastian Formella tops an exciting night of action on Saturday night in London live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN on other selected global platforms.

MAIN EVENT

Conor Benn vs Sebastian Formella- WBA Continental welterweight title

Benn came out of the blocks fast using a quick snapping jab and fast hands to settle into his rhythm early on in the opening round of the contest.

The Briton continued to try and control Formella with swift head movement and a snapping jab, to try and use his speed to outgun the German, landing some snappy shots in the second.

Formella continued to try and settle against Benn's constantly changing shot selection, and the German had issues with a blood covered nose in the third, after an elbow warning was handed to the Briton by the referee.

Benn landed a sttraight right hand on Formella in the fourth that was taken well by the German but he continued to struggle against the swift and efficient hands of the 24-year-old.

Formella continued to be largely outworked in the fifth round, with Benn continuing to deliver a controlling display against his seasoned opponent.

The German managed to get a bit of rhythm going despite a blitzing from Benn in the sixth, as the experienced fighter dug in and try to throw some shots of his own.

The fight went into the final three rounds between Benn and Formella with the British welterweight continuing to try and get on the front foot in the championship stanza.

Formella had some marking appear on his left eye in the eighth round with Benn trying to step on the gas and get back into the driving seat with the German's recent attempts to try and push Benn back.

The last two rounds continued to follow the same pattern as many of the previous, with Benn boxing with real rhythm and tempo to maintain his control of the contest despite Formella's top resillience and bravery to take the shots.

A huge right hand landed in the ninth as Benn landed more and more shots flush in the ninth, inflicting more damage on the tough chin of Formella.

The final round saw Benn trying with a great showman attempt to end the fight teeing off in the same pattern trying to tee up the unloading combinations to gain a championship round stoppage.

Victory for Conor Benn against Sebastian Formella by unanimous decision in the welterweight contest over ten rounds of action.

 

FIGHT #1: 

Liam Davies vs Sean Cairns- Vacant English bantamweight title

Davies opened up well in the early stages really landing the jab in the first and keeping himself on the front foot with neat early combinations.

Cairns however had some success of his own despite Davies keeping the distance well trying to evade the beat jab and land with the leading southpaw left hand.

The 24-year-old Shropshire fighter continued to probe landing three short counter lefts flush on the chin of Cairns who absorbed them well but began to have markings on his face in the fifth.

Liam Davies stopped Sean Cairns in the sixth after Cairns could not take any more punishment and Davies earnt the vacant English bantamweight belt.

 

FIGHT #2:

Ben Ridings vs Jez Smith- Six rounds middleweight

Smith did not look overruled in the early stages as the fighters opened in tentative fashion at the start of the contest and tried to implement their styles.

Ridings continued to back up and try to land from distance with Smith appearing to land the scoring punches despite Riding's sporadic counter shots.

'Mondo' continued to be the marginally busier fighter in the fourth, with both fighters trying to pop their jab and work the angles to push themselves into the lead onto the scorecards.

Jez Smith takes the victory in the contest via  decision on Bob Williams's card with score at 60-54 on four days notice in the middleweight contest.

 

Fight #3:

Alen Babic vs Tom Little- 8 round heavyweight contest

Babic once again came out the blocks trying to push Little on the ropes once again, but met a tough competitior in Little who tried to immediately set out his stool and box from distance with some explosive exchanges in the opening rounds.

Once again, the croatian came out to try and take Little out with some fast combinations but Little continued to keep the shots from landing with any real purpose and landing his own jab.

Babic dropped Little in the third round with a stiff shot that scored the Croatian a knockdown in the third.

After another kncokdown, the towel came in from the Little corner.

Alen Babic records his sixth consecutive victory with the third round stoppage of Tom Little.

 

Fight #4:

Fabio Wardley vs Richard Lartey

Lartey came out looking composed in the early stages, looking to bring the favourite Wardley forwards in the tentative opening stages.

Two swift shots and a stiff right hand hammered Lartey in the second ending the fight in stunning fashion.

Fabio Wardley takes the victory with a sensational second round stoppage.
