Uruguayan Chris Namús (25-5, 8KOs) faces undefeated Slovenian Ema Kozin (19-0-1, 10KOs) on October 17 at the CPI Box Club, Donauwoerth, Germany, for the Interim Middleweight World Boxing Council title, on a card presented by Skoko Box Promotion.
33-year-old Namús, from Montevideo, Uruguay, comes to this contest after more than a year away from the ring and with 25 fights won and five losses during a career that began 13 years ago. Her reverses have come against top competition including boxing superstar Cecilia Braekhus (36-1, 9KOs) and long-reigning IBF World Female super-welterweight champion Marie Eve Dicaire (17-0).
Southpaw Ema Kozin, just 21-years-old, will try to maintain her incredible undefeated 20-fight record. She is a two-weight world champion having held the WIBA middleweight title since 2017 and the super-middleweight version since 2018.
She is currently ranked as the world's fourth best active female super-middleweight by The Ring Magazine, and sixth best by BoxRec.
More fight details to be announced shortly.
