Caroline Dubois defend belts to unbeaten American challenger
British boxer Caroline Dubois (13-0-1, 5 KOs) will defend her WBC and WBO World lightweight titles to unbeaten American Amelia Moore (4-0, 1 KO) on the Mikaela Mayer vs Chantelle Cameron card in Birmingham on August 29.
Dubois defends her belts to Moore on the Most Valuable Promotions MVPW-06 event at the bp pulse LIVE arena in Birmingham on August 29, where every fight on the main card will see a UK vs USA contest.
36-year-old Moore was born in Middletown, Connecticut, and now resides in Colorado Springs. In her last fight, in March, she conquered the NABF lightweight title.
'Sweet Caroline' Dubois is the younger sister of two-tim world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. The 25-year-old southpaw became a world champion in her eighth fight in 2023 when she claimed the IBO World lightweight title. She has since added the WBC and WBO belts to her collection.
"I'm excited to be fighting in the UK at home again," Dubois said. "The crowd in London last time was incredible. I am looking forward to representing the UK on this card and defending my unified titles.
"The goal is to fight for more belts at the end of the year so I need to focus and take care of business with a big win in Birmingham."
Since inception in 2021, MVP has produced over 30 live boxing events and currently promotes over 60 fighters, 15 world champions, and 26 top contenders.
