The four-weight world champion and two-time undisputed super-middleweight champion, Saul Canelo Alvarez, confirmed his desire to fight in the UK before he retires and named Chris Eubank Jr specifically as the opponent he would most like to face.
The Mexican said, "I want to fight in the UK and I promise I will do.
"I don't know exactly where yet, but I am going to do it.
"Would people like to see me against Chris Eubank Jr? Maybe that's the fight.
"That's a fight I would consider, but we don't know what is going to happen."
Firstly, Canelo is due to fight Terence Crawford on September 13 in a defence of his undisputed super-middleweight championship.
And Brighton boxer Eubank Jr is contracted to a rematch with British rival Conor Benn, scheduled for September, according to Eddie Hearn.
If they both fight in the same month this year, win or lose, fight fans would all like to see a Canelo vs Eubank showdown next.
