Both 18-0, Karim Arce and David Cuéllar will clash for vacant WBC Silver youth bantamweight title

Karim Arce vs. David Cuellar put unbeaten records on the line

On June 12, boxing fans will be treated to a great duel between Mexican prospects Karim ‘Traviesito’ Arce (18-0-2, 8KOs) and David ‘General’ Cuéllar (18-0, 11KOs).

It's an exacting contest between undefeated Mexican prospects, both 18-0, where the vacant Silver Youth Bantamweight title of the World Boxing Council will be at stake.

Both will enter the contest with 18 victories, with the small difference, in that Arce has a duo of draws.

23-year-old Karim said, “I have worked hard for this special moment. All the effort has already been made and it only remains to wait for the bell. The General is going to suffer the consequences; my training sessions make me feel sure that the fight is not going to be long, although I am ready for 10, 12 or even 20 rounds.”

19-year-old David Cuellar, from Queretaro, declared that he is ready for this new challenge and it's all just a stepping stone towards his conquest of the Green and Gold Belt.

The card is Promociones del Pueblo in association with BXSTRS Promotions and will reach all of Latin America through ESPN screens in their successful series ‘ESPN Knockout’.

Former world title contender Jose Uzcategui (30-4, 25KOs) appears on the undercard as he continues his comeback at light-heavyweight.
