Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury - Amir Khan picks a winner

It was announced earlier this week that two-time world heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are finally set to face off in a highly-anticipated domestic dust-up in the final quarter of the year.

Joshua first needs to come through a tune-up fight against Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but that shouldn't be an issue given the level of his opponent.

Olympic silver medalist and British boxing legend Amir Khan told Betway that he believes it's a "50/50 fight now" but if Fury is still at the top of his game then he "wins that fight all day long."

Khan commented on the upcoming clash, "It’ll be a good, close fight. I think it will go the distance, but it’ll be exciting to watch because both fighters are at a high level. Anthony Joshua has had some good wins (before Daniel Dubois) and looked really sharp and revived.

"Then you look at Tyson Fury, he has to be in the right position to make it a close fight with AJ. If Fury is still at the top and full of confidence, then I think Fury wins that fight all day long. But after the last two fights, it’s even, a 50/50 fight now.

"Mentally, Fury may have been affected, and that’s normal. I’m not speaking badly about him, it’s just reality, and it happened to me. When I lost that fight against Lamont Peterson, I was mentally finished. Even though I knew I was a better fighter than Danny Garcia, he beat me and knocked me out. I was outboxing him and dominating, but that’s life."
